Particle Measuring Systems is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager to lead an insourced team and build a reliable, secure infrastructure for a global organization. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT Infrastructure, operations, service desk, or enterprise technology experience including 3+ years leading technical teams or managing infrastructure/operations services.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID/Active Directory, endpoint management, identity/access management, and collaboration platforms.
• Demonstrated experience leading or transforming an internal infrastructure, operations, service desk, or end‑user support team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
• Strong understanding of information security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead the insourced Infrastructure and Operations team, setting direction and developing talent.
• Align infrastructure priorities with business growth, cybersecurity, compliance, and global needs.
• Develop a practical infrastructure roadmap for reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Provide updates on priorities, performance, risks, and improvement plans.
• Define team objectives and KPIs, including service levels and incident response.
• Own global network, server, storage, endpoint, cloud, and collaboration infrastructure management.
• Oversee cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls in coordination with the Spectris team.
• Lead backup/recovery, DR testing, patch governance, and risk management.
• Move to proactive service management with runbooks and knowledge articles.
• Manage incident, problem, change, and escalation processes.
• Deliver high availability and performance of IT services for the business.
• Lead governance, compliance, and audits for digital standards.
• Stay current on infrastructure technologies and adopt practical improvements.
• Oversee vendor, contractor, and partner relationships to ensure accountability.
