Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 global flooring leader, is seeking a Director Internal Audit to oversee the global annual IT risk assessment and the Americas IT audit plan, coordinating with European IT Audit Director and finance teams. The role involves evaluating IT infrastructure, advising on controls, processes, and system design while maintaining ethical standards.

Qualifications

• MBA/MAcc/MA in business or MIS preferred with CPA/CISA/CIA certification
• 8–10 years of full-time IT auditing, financial auditing, systems analysis or business analysis experience; at least 4 years supervisory experience
• Knowledge of internal auditing standards, accounting principles and frameworks (ISACA COBIT, GAAP, SOX)
• Ability to plan, manage projects, and supervise audit professionals

Responsabilités

• Design, coordinate and administer the annual risk assessment across global IT functions
• Develop integrated testing routines for IT controls and manual controls
• Oversee global co-source testing arrangements for IT controls
• Evaluate IT internal control processes and advise on improvements
• Identify SOX IT control applicability and coordinate with external audit
• Review and adjust IT audit plan based on changes in timing and resources
• Lead management and external auditor communications and follow-up
• Foster relationships with management and external auditors
• Maintain professional development and memberships for the audit team
• Represent internal audit on project teams and management meetings
