Unity seeks a senior leader to run the IP and Litigation function, partnering with the Chief Legal Officer and IP team. You will shape the legal strategy for Unity’s IP portfolio and oversee non-employment disputes worldwide while coordinating with product and business teams.

You will manage enforcement, open source issues, M&A IP matters, and lead disputes across IP, commercial, securities, privacy, and regulatory areas. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned IP strategist.

Qualifications

• JD with admission to at least one state bar; USPTO admission preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex IP and commercial disputes through all stages.
• Experience leading IP strategy (patent, trademark, copyright) and broad litigation.

Responsabilités

• Lead IP strategy, enforcement, and defense across patents, trademarks, trade secrets and copyrights.
• Oversee IP portfolio development with product teams and outside counsel.
• Guide open source compliance and licensing processes.
• Support IP due diligence for M&A and related agreements.
• Lead company-wide IP and litigation strategy for non-employment disputes.
