Job summary

The role requires a J.D. and USPTO bar, plus 3+ years at a top law firm focusing on patents; an engineering background is highly valued for technical understanding.

Qualifications

• J.D. and USPTO bar admission required.
• Undergraduate engineering, physics, math, or related field is preferred.
• 3+ years at a top-tier law firm focused on patent work is expected.

Responsibilities

• Own patent portfolio value and global strategy, including cost tracking.
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications at USPTO and international offices.
• Perform FTO analyses and patentability assessments to manage portfolio risk.
