Alcon, the global leader in eye care, is seeking an IP Counsel to join our Legal and Compliance team in Fort Worth, TX. You will manage invention disclosures, oversee patent preparation and prosecution, and advise on IP strategy across devices and manufacturing technologies.

Candidates should have a J.D., bar admission, and 4–7 years of patent law experience, with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners. Travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academics.
• Admission to at least one U.S. state bar and USPTO registration.

Mansioni

• Manage invention disclosures, screening, interviews, and patent committee presentations.
• Prepare, prosecute and manage a global patent portfolio with USPTO filings.
• Provide IP-related advice and negotiate IP agreements; support litigation activities.
