Job summary

Aquatic Capital is seeking an Investor Relations & Marketing professional in New York to drive capital raising and elevate the firm's profile among global institutional investors. You will lead investor communications, craft marketing materials, and coordinate outreach across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

With 6+ years in investor relations or institutional sales, you will leverage an established network to secure commitments, gather market feedback, and shape Aquatic's fundraising

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years of experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales at a hedge fund, asset manager, or similar firm.
• Proven track record of raising capital from institutional investors such as pensions, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and funds of funds.
• Established network of institutional investor relationships; international connections in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East preferred.
• Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies and ability to communicate Aquatic's approach and performance to investors.
• Experience producing investor materials, including presentations, monthly reports, and annual letters.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Helpful: experience marketing quantitative or systematic trading strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to raise new capital for Aquatic, focusing on international investors.
• Identify and develop prospective investors through existing and new networks.
• Meet and build relationships with existing investors and understand their needs.
• Lead investor communications, presentations, and meetings, including marketing materials and reports.
• Develop and refine the firm's marketing strategy aligned with long-term goals.
• Represent the firm at industry events and travel to meet investors globally.
• Staff investor meetings thoughtfully, respecting investor history and needs.
• Provide market feedback to guide business development and investment choices.
