Job summary

Team8 in New York seeks a Head of Investor Relations to lead fundraising strategy and manage end-to-end processes, expanding the global LP base and strengthening institutional relationships across cyber, data, fintech, and digital health.

You will partner with General Partners, Marketing and Finance, oversee due diligence, data rooms, and fundraising collateral, and design systems to measure progress. Five years in IR, a broad network, and excellent communication are required; travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an Investor Relations professional at an institutional investor, private placement agent, multi-family office, or VC/PE Fund.
• Broad network of institutional investors, strategic investors, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for global LP audiences.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a world-class LP targeting strategy to expand global institutional and strategic investor base.
• Forge and nurture lasting LP relationships through research, outreach, and representation at global LP conferences and events.
• Lead the full fundraising cycle by qualifying and matching new LPs with Team8 vehicles, managing diligence and data rooms, and driving commitments to closing.
• Develop systems and reporting to measure, optimize, and communicate fundraising progress and LP development to leadership.
• Create compelling fundraising collateral with Marketing, Finance, and investment teams.
• Combine data-driven pipeline management (CRM, automation, analytics) with a strategic, relationship-driven approach.
