Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an experienced International Tax Services Manager/Director to lead complex cross-border tax work and mentor professionals across the firm. The role offers flexibility and may be based in any CLA office location nationwide, with a focus on advisory leadership and client service Excellence.

The position requires deep international tax knowledge, CPA certification, and at least six years of related experience; Massachusetts offices are included in the nationwide

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant international tax experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification).
• Deep technical knowledge of international tax, foreign and US tax law.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a consultant regarding international business challenges, from going international to optimizing structures and cross-border transactions.
• Researches client international tax issues and applies solutions (foreign tax credit planning, M&A, earnings repatriation, treaty analysis, export incentives).
• Prepares and reviews the US international component of complex individual and corporate tax returns.
• Maintains current knowledge of foreign and US tax laws.
• Excels at engagement management and operational excellence.
• Mentor and escalation point for Associate and Senior ITS members.
