Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an experienced International Tax Services Manager/Director to guide clients on complex cross-border matters and lead a growing ITS practice. The role offers the opportunity to mentor high-performing professionals and drive business development while supporting flexibility, with base options at any CLA office location nationwide.

The position requires 6 years of relevant experience, a CPA, and deep technical knowledge of international and US tax law.

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA certification)
• Deep technical knowledge of international tax, foreign and US tax law

Responsibilities

• Acts as a consultant regarding a wide range of international business challenges, from going international to optimizing structures and cross-border transactions.
• Researches client international tax issues and applies solutions in foreign tax credit planning, M&A, earnings repatriation, treaty analysis and export incentives
• Prepares and reviews the US international component of complex individual and corporate tax returns
• Maintains current knowledge of foreign and US tax laws
• Excels at engagement management and operational excellence
• Mentor and escalate for Associate and Senior ITS members
