Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Risk and Controls Manager for the Leo Controllership team to strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and drive process improvements. The role requires deep ownership, ability to navigate complex processes, and a track record of delivering results.

You will collaborate with business, tech, and finance teams to design and implement controls, guide SDLC activities, and monitor control effectiveness across a fast-growing organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Export Control Requirement: U.S. citizen/national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as specified.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end process discovery and documentation for complex processes.
• Design controls and implement with engineering, business, finance and accounting teams.
• Assist with system implementation, migration and SDLC controls.
• Plan and manage multiple parallel projects.
• Advise on and design controls and compliance programs.
• Provide ongoing support to process owners and cross-functional teams to ensure effective controls.
