Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a strategic Internal Audit leader to shape the risk assessment process, support the annual audit plan, and translate audit findings into enterprise-wide insights. You will work across Ford’s global operations, engaging senior leaders and strengthening disciplined audit execution.

The ideal candidate combines internal audit and risk expertise with strong analytical, communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Audit, Risk Management or Project Management in a large industrial environment.
• Experience in internal audit, enterprise risk assessment, risk management, or related field.
• Experience developing or managing an enterprise audit universe or risk-based audit plan.
• Strong analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative data.
• Experience with data analytics, visualization, automation, or AI-enabled tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines with accountability.
• CIA or IAP certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Ford’s audit universe and lead risk assessment process.
• Translate risk data into action and align audit plan with Ford+ priorities.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and dashboards to support reviews.
• Track audit progress and findings to provide visibility into operations.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
