Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. seeks a seasoned Director of Audit Services to lead the global internal audit function, delivering independent assurance on controls, risk management, and governance across the Americas and Genpact centers in India and Mexico.

You will manage a team of audit professionals and collaborate with finance, IT, and operations to strengthen the control environment and strategic performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• MBA preferred.
• CFE, CIA, CPA, CISA preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, public accounting, or risk management.
• Experience leading managers and global/distributed teams across multinational operations.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX, and audit methodologies.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory expectations for public companies.
• Strategic, analytical mindset with ability to develop diverse teams.
• Excellent communication with senior executives and audit committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit planning and resource deployment across engagements with executive oversight.
• Provide proactive advisory on internal control frameworks during management requests.
• Oversee issue resolution and stakeholder collaboration to close findings.
• Lead cross-disciplinary audits covering financial, operational, IT, and regulatory areas.
• Translate findings into executive-ready reports and risk-based recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to IIA standards and regulatory requirements through QA processes.
