Job summary
MilliporeSigma is seeking a Global Innovation Lead for Downstream & Validation Services to drive the innovation roadmap, identify market opportunities, and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across R&D, business, and portfolio teams in the US and Europe. Qualifications
- 7-10+ years in biopharmaceutical or life science industry with downstream expertise.
- Proven track record in innovation strategy and portfolio management.
- Experience influencing across a global, cross-functional organization.
- Strong business analytics, data interpretation, and use of AI-enabled tools.
- Executive-level storytelling and communication with senior leaders.
- Intrapreneurial mindset driving decisions and results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update the DSVS innovation roadmap aligned with stakeholders.
- Identify emerging technologies and market insights to sharpen opportunities.
- Define organic/inorganic innovation paths and support sub-franchise roadmaps.
- Oversee the innovation pipeline from ideation to implementation.
- Establish frameworks to prioritize a balanced portfolio of innovations.
- Engage external ecosystems to translate insights into opportunities.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Directors, PMs, R&D and IPPM for integration.
- Steer senior leadership reviews and secure resources.
- Measure and report innovation performance and ROI.
