Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager III to drive capacity delivery across non-standard infrastructure programs worldwide.

You will lead cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle from upstream requirements through design, procurement, construction, and deployment. The role emphasizes scalable processes, data-driven decisions, and governance to accelerate delivery while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
• 3+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experience.
• Experience identifying, mitigating, and managing business risks and tradeoffs.
• 3+ years managing complex, cross-functional infrastructure build programs where strategy and deployment plans were not fully defined, requiring the ability to independently drive clarity, define scope, and deliver outcomes with limited guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent technical experience).

Responsibilities

• Elicit, define, and document technical requirements for infrastructure programs often undefined at inception.
• Develop demand forecasts and capacity scaling models for emerging programs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of boutique infrastructure projects from requirements to deployment.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resource plans for programs with evolving technical requirements and site conditions.
• Partner with engineering teams to create tailored infrastructure solutions within unique constraints.
• Coordinate cross-program activities to improve cost and execution efficiency.
