Job summary

Americhem, a global designer and manufacturer of color masterbatch and engineered polymers, seeks a Global Market Manager – Industrial to drive growth across Defense, Aerospace, Electronics, Energy Storage and other advanced sectors.

You will lead segment strategies, partner with Product Management and R&D, analyze market trends, and shape entry and expansion plans while collaborating with regional teams in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 7+ years in market management, commercial strategy, or segment leadership roles, preferably within plastics, polymers, or specialty materials industries.
• Proven success in segment execution, financial analysis, and global collaboration across sales, marketing, and technology functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global segment strategies for profitable growth.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize adjacent and emerging market opportunities aligned with core capabilities.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry disruptions to inform strategy.
• Develop market entry, expansion, and commercialization strategies for priority verticals (Defense, Aerospace, Electronics, Energy Storage).
• Lead VoC, market intelligence, and competitive analysis initiatives to uncover unmet customer needs.
