Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Global Industrial Engineer to support planning, scheduling, coordination, and tracking of automation equipment across our global manufacturing sites in Etters, PA.

You will serve as a central coordinator between manufacturing sites, engineering teams, automation resources, suppliers, and management to provide clear visibility to schedules, status, capacity, milestones, and project timing. Strong IE background and Excel VBA skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing, automation, and production planning.
• Strong Excel skills: PivotTables, formulas, data analysis, dashboards, VBA/macros.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain global schedule and tracking of automation equipment across manufacturing sites from planning to production readiness.
• Develop and maintain a centralized global automation equipment tracker with visibility on location, status, schedule, capacity, milestones, risks, and actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to ensure accurate equipment info and reporting.
• Establish standardized processes and reporting for tracking automation equipment and communicating status across sites.
• Create dashboards and reports using PivotTables, charts, and VBA to communicate schedules, capacity, and project status.
• Automate reporting and data consolidation using Excel VBA, Power Query, and other tools.
• Identify opportunities to automate scheduling, tracking, data collection, and management reporting.
• Lead cross-site reviews of equipment schedules, actions, risks, and priorities; drive recovery plans as needed.
• Support equipment and capital planning for new product introductions and capacity expansions.
• Travel up to 40% to global locations and suppliers as required.
