Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Global Manufacturing Capacity Engineer to join the Cable Backplane Systems Global NPI group in Valley Green, PA. You will own the worldwide capacity planning model, translating forecasts into production hours, lines, and site loading while governing standard capacity assumptions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in high-volume capacity planning, strong data analytics, and advanced Excel/Power BI skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Operations/Mechanical or related quantitative field.
5+ years in manufacturing capacity planning, IE, production planning or factory modeling.
Strong knowledge of cycle time, OEE, yield, hours, utilization, and ramp modeling.
Able to translate forecasts into machine, line, labor, and CapEx needs.
Advanced Excel and Power BI skills; experience with ERP/MRP, MES, SQL, Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own the CBS global capacity planning model and provide a single view of demand and capacity.
Translate forecasts into production hours, equipment, lines, shifts, and site loading.
Define capacity assumptions including cycle time, OEE, yield, downtime, and ramp curves.
Consolidate site data across Vietnam, China, Mexico, USA and future CBS sites.
Provide executive visibility of capacity gaps and CapEx needs before demand impact.
