Stripe is seeking a tax professional to lead indirect tax advisory for its international entities. You will determine taxability of new products, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, accounting, and product to implement tax solutions.

The role is based in the United States and reports to the International Indirect Tax Advisory Lead. A strong in-house tax background and experience with VAT/GST across multiple jurisdictions are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of indirect tax knowledge, laws and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree and professional qualification in tax or law.
• In-house multinational business experience or law/firm background.
• Experience with indirect taxes for digital services and physical goods.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Be an indirect tax subject matter expert and advisor to business and finance teams globally.
• Support Stripe's international expansion and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in policy matters affecting indirect taxes internationally.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting, and product teams to design tax solutions.
• Assist with audits and improve ongoing indirect tax processes.
• Translate complex tax concepts for non-tax professionals; train partners as needed.
