Job summary

Stripe’s Tax team is seeking an experienced tax professional to focus on Stripe products. You’ll scale tax processes in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that meet Stripe’s tax obligations.

You’ll address indirect tax, information reporting, transfer pricing, and income tax, draft policies, and support product operations. Strong written and verbal communication is essential, with 7+ years of cross-border tax experience and an advanced degree

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cross-border tax experience
• Advanced degree or professional qualification in tax or law
• Knowledge of indirect tax, information reporting, withholding, transfer pricing, and income tax reporting
• Experience managing time, projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate tax laws into product/engineering requirements

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary tax contact for end-to-end product launch readiness with cross-functional teams
• Identify and assess tax issues for product launches including indirect tax, information reporting, transfer pricing, and income tax
• Draft and implement tax policies and procedures that affect product operations
• Support internal teams (Account Management, Sales, User Operations) on tax-related product needs
• Review internal processes and external communications for clear tax-related documentation
• Assist with other tax projects as needed
