Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager, Indirect Procurement to join our North America team. You will lead high-impact sourcing engagements across multiple indirect categories to deliver value, scale initiatives, and drive sophisticated spend analytics.

Responsibilities include managing RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contracts while partnering with business and finance leaders to optimize total cost of ownership and ensure procurement ethics align with global policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation.
• Experience managing spend categories including IT Software/Services, Corporate Services, Marketing or Facilities.
• Expertise in procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, contracting, etc.).
• 5+ years of strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong relationships with internal partners and understand priorities across spend categories.
• Support execution of sourcing events across indirect spend categories.
• Deliver savings by adopting automated self-service sourcing technology.
• Support enhancements and roadmap of the self-service sourcing application.
• Manage RFx, spend pattern analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, and supplier consolidation.
• Work with finance to identify savings and controllership improvements focusing on total cost of ownership.
• Provide guidance on procurement strategies while upholding procurement ethics.
