Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a data-driven Procurement Category Manager to support the Americas data center construction space. You will lead sourcing strategies, collaborate with internal partners and suppliers, and drive efficiencies and cost savings.

You will analyze data, manage large-scale procurement projects, and influence teams across levels. A strong "think big" mindset and customer focus are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, contract or operations experience.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations and financial analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or Python.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement sourcing strategies for data center construction services.
• Drive improvements to reduce costs, risks and lead times with suppliers.
• Develop metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery.
• Lead competitive bidding, negotiations, and data-driven market analysis.
