Qualifications

• BA or BS degree.
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) are a plus.
• Experience working with a fashion or apparel business a plus.

Responsibilities

• Category Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories to optimize cost, quality, and service.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships. Lead negotiations and performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies align with organizational objectives.
• Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, demand management, and process improvements.
• People Management: Develop and lead a global team of 2-4 direct reports.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity and supplier resilience.
