Job summary

Methode Electronics Inc. is seeking an experienced indirect procurement leader to develop and execute a global sourcing strategy across MRO, facilities, IT, engineering software, PLM, and related services.

You will drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and value across a multi-regional footprint. You will lead category strategies, complex negotiations, and cross-functional collaboration with IT, engineering, operations, and legal to enable operational efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
• 5+ years in global leadership role focused on indirect categories
• Deep expertise across indirect spend areas (MRO, facilities, IT licensing, cloud, PLM, M&E)
• Proven ability to develop and lead global category strategies
• Strong experience in supplier relationships and complex negotiations
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed org
• Proficient in analytics, financial acumen, and procurement tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global category strategies for indirect spend
• Identify sourcing opportunities and drive cost-saving initiatives
• Lead supplier negotiations and governance models
• Collaborate with IT, Engineering, Facilities, Operations, Finance and Legal
• Support CAPEX planning, compliance systems, and digital transformation
• Oversee Software Asset Management renewal strategies
• Monitor market trends and supplier risks to inform decisions
• Lead a high-performing team of category managers
