Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an Index Production Team Leader to manage the day-to-day production of BISL Multi-Asset and Strategy indices from New York. You will coordinate with Engineering, Data, Product, and Sales to support index expansion and ensure timely, high-quality publication.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing local and globally distributed teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Strong project and operational leadership skills, with ability to prioritize work and drive initiatives to completion.
• Knowledge of financial indices, systematic investment products, or index regulation is helpful, with interest in financial markets.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to translate research and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure with limited information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for clear client and internal partner interactions.
• Continuous learning mindset and ability to understand complex business processes quickly.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day production of BISL Multi-Asset and Strategy index families, ensuring accurate and timely index calculation and publication.
• Lead and develop a globally distributed Index Production team across multiple regions.
• Ensure client needs and production priorities are met efficiently while maintaining high quality.
• Supervise daily operational workflows and resolve production issues to minimize business impact.
• Partner with Engineering to design, enhance, and implement tools and technology for efficiency and automation.
• Drive continuous process improvements by optimizing workflows and strengthening controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new index launches and production enhancements.
