Job summary

PayPal is seeking a Manager of Global Income Tax Reporting to join its Global Income Tax Reporting Team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions, forecast effective tax rates, and model impacts of tax legislation and business initiatives, working with Controllership, FP&A, and other teams.

The role requires leading tax accounting activities, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring SOX compliance while collaborating across Tax, Corporate Accounting,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in ASC740 income tax accounting or equivalent.
• Experience with SEC income tax disclosures.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global income tax provision preparation, including current and deferred taxes.
• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC disclosures and related journal entries.
• Model ETR forecasts and tax impacts of legislation and business initiatives.
• Ensure SOX controls over income tax processes.
