Job summary

FTSE Russell is seeking an experienced Incident Response Assistant Manager to coordinate end-to-end management of operational incidents across the global business.

This first-line risk role partners with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and Compliance to ensure timely escalation, robust post-incident reviews and evidence-based remediation. London Stock Exchange Group values detailed reporting, governance, and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident management, operational risk, controls, governance, audit, or a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of incident lifecycle management and RCA practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end incident management from identification to remediation and lessons learned.
• Lead post-incident reviews ensuring timely, evidence-based RCA and remediation tracking.
• Produce incident MI and governance packs for senior management and regulators.
• Assist with client communications, regulatory updates and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain audit-ready incident records and enforce data quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvements to incident management processes and control environments.
