Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) seeks a Scientist – In Vitro Global Safety Pharmacology in Groton, CT to support drug discovery by conducting in vitro experiments that assess off-target pharmacology of novel compounds through cellular and biochemical assays.

The role involves independent and team-based work, data analysis with Excel/GraphPad Prism, and detailed documentation. Preferred background includes receptor pharmacology principles and relevant assay platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacology or related field with 5+ years of laboratory experience.
• Experience running cell/enzyme-based assays in medium to high throughput environments.
• Cell culture experience and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, GraphPad Prism) and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and interpret in vitro experiments for safety pharmacology screens.
• Perform aseptic cell culture for multiple cell lines and assist biochemical/bi-cell assays.
• Maintain detailed records and prepare study summaries/reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and use software tools to document data and findings.
