Job summary

Lilly in Boston's Seaport Innovation Center seeks a scientific leader to direct in vitro pharmacology within the Neuroscience NGTx program. Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• 6+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience with deep expertise in in vitro pharmacology and cell-based biology.
• 4+ years of people management experience leading scientists.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific direction for in vitro pharmacology aligned with Neuroscience portfolio goals.
• Design and interpret human-relevant in vitro studies (iPSC neurons/glia, reporter assays, primary cells).
• Build disease-relevant in vitro models for target validation and lead characterization.
• Lead design, screening, and optimization of siRNA and genetic-medicine approaches and translate hits into leads.
• Maintain assay validation standards to ensure robust, reproducible data.
• Collaborate across teams to translate cellular findings to in vivo and clinical contexts.
