Job summary

Natco Home, based in West Warwick, RI, seeks an Import Merchandise Specialist for the Floor Coverings Product Management team. You’ll manage an assigned customer account and oversee imported programs from setup to delivery, coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes relationship management, project coordination, and precise data handling, including SKUs, pricing, and supplier information.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, merchandising, marketing, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in account management, merchandising, customer service, product coordination, or similar role preferred
• Experience with imported products, supplier management, retail accounts, or product management preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) required; SharePoint preferred
• Experience with ERP / item management systems preferred
• Experience with customer portals is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer account, building relationships and delivering exceptional service
• Manage product programs from setup through delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer requirements
• Support quoting activities, manage customer portal information, and maintain product data including SKUs, pricing, specifications, and supplier information
• Coordinate artwork approvals, packaging requirements, labeling, and samples with customer, suppliers, and internal teams
• Partner with Compliance to ensure testing, certification, and regulatory requirements are completed prior to shipment
• Review artwork, packaging, and related documentation for accuracy and customer approval
• Gather and communicate critical product and order information to support successful execution
• Support additional projects as assigned by Senior Floor Product Manager
