You will coordinate daily import shipments, communicate with overseas agents and vendors, and ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance while maintaining client communications and records.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in import operations, freight forwarding, or international logistics.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, Incoterms, and import compliance procedures.
• Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day import shipment operations from origin to final delivery.
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely cargo movement.
• Prepare, review, and process import documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and CBP entry requirements.
• Track and monitor inbound shipments, proactively resolving delays or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by keeping clients informed on shipment status.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal logistics management systems.
