Job summary

Staffmark Group in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Import and Export Coordinator to manage international and domestic freight, ensuring on-time processing and customs compliance. You will work with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to keep goods moving through the supply chain.

Main duties include coordinating shipments end-to-end, preparing documents, tracking status, and maintaining records with Excel and logistics systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in supply chain preferred.
• Experience in import/export, logistics, or international transportation required.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and trade compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel, data entry, reporting, and freight coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments from origin through final delivery, including transport and schedules.
• Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Track shipments, resolve issues, and communicate status to internal teams and partners.
• Maintain shipment records and support inventory control and supply chain operations.
