Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Irvine, CA, seeks an import/export coordinator to manage US export-controlled shipments and documentation, ensuring compliance with EAR/ITAR and federal regulations. You will handle EEI submissions, liaise with brokers, and monitor shipments end-to-end.

Required: Associate’s degree with 2+ years’ experience; knowledge of HTS, ECCN, and ACE Portal; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance. Competitive benefits and pay range.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 2+ years related experience and/or training; Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding and experience of U.S. import/export regulations and operations; classify items such as HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN from top level to components.
• Experience submitting EEI to ACE Portal.
• Well organized, detail oriented, independent work to meet delivery goals.
• Knowledge of FDA, EAR, ITAR, OFAC.
• Record keeping requirements, rules and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be eligible to obtain DoD security clearance; US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage import/export clearance, prepare shipping docs, and ensure compliance with Federal and Customs regulations.
• Serve as central contact for export/import transactions at the site.
• Interface with freight forwarders and brokers to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain export/import documentation.
• Submit EEI to ACE Portal for export transactions.
• Monitor shipments from origin to destination and resolve issues.
• Audit customs entries for correctness.
• Assist Trade Compliance Officer with classification and licensing.
• Support MRO shipments of 9801 US goods return.
