Job summary

Blockskye is seeking a Global Implementation Project Manager to lead corporate travel program implementations across regions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage onboarding, and ensure program success from kickoff to go-live.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate travel management or technology implementation, strong PM skills, and ability to work across time zones in a global environment. PMP/GBTA accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate travel management or travel technology implementation.
• Proven track record of managing global implementation projects within the travel industry.
• Strong knowledge of global travel policies, supplier relations, and industry compliance standards.
• Experience with travel management systems (GDS, OBTs) and data integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones in a fast-paced environment.

The Global Implementation Project Manager will lead the successful implementation of corporate travel programs across multiple regions. This role requires expertise in project management, client onboarding, corporate travel operations and process optimization to ensure seamless travel program implementations for our global clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, delivering on all contractual commitments and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end implementation of corporate travel programs for regional and global clients, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, partners, and the client to define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies throughout the implementation process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and client-specific program requirements.
• Coordinate data integration, system configurations, and user training to optimize travel booking platforms, expense management tools, and the user experience.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and proactive communication throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Partner with global stakeholders to align travel program goals with organizational objectives.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Travel & Tourism, Project Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate travel management, travel technology implementation, or related fields.
• Proven track record of managing complex, global implementation projects within the travel industry.
• Strong knowledge of global travel policies, supplier relations, and industry compliance standards.
• Experience working with travel management systems (GDS, OBTs, and expense management platforms).
• Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven experience interacting at all levels of an organization.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment across multiple time zones.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset, with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as PMP, CTC, or GBTA accreditation are a plus.
