Qualifications

• Medical degree required with gastroenterology/clinical immunology focus.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharma, leading clinical trials to support approvals (Phase 2-4).
• Knowledge of biostatistics and global regulatory environment.
• Experience leading or reviewing a clinical program: design, development plan and Target Product Profile.
• Strong presentation and communication with internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and scientific input into programs of small molecules, biologics or cell therapy.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver early to late phase development activities.
• Oversee study design concepts and regulatory documentation for studies.
• Ensure safety surveillance, medical monitoring and timely delivery of studies.
• Represent scientific content at investigator meetings and with country teams.
• Educate new team members and identify risks with mitigation strategies.
