Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated in Somerville, MA is seeking a Visa Specialist to guide international scholars and employees through U.S. immigration processes, ensuring compliance and a smooth onboarding.

You will manage J-1 and H-1B requests, amendments, extensions and transfers; prepare LCAs and I-129 petitions, answer sponsorship queries, and support orientation, with a hybrid schedule (3 onsite days at Assembly Row).

Qualifications

• Experience in immigration services or global mobility is preferred.
• Knowledge of J-1 and H-1B regulations is preferred.
• Experience in higher education or healthcare settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage J-1 visa requests for researchers and trainees.
• Process J-1 amendments, extensions, and transfers.
• Assist with H-1B sponsorships including LCAs and I-129 filings.
• Provide guidance on sponsorship processes and timelines.
• Support new employee orientation and maintain accurate case records.
