Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to join our team in San Francisco. The role focuses on representing corporate clients in non-immigrant and immigrant immigration matters, with emphasis on strategy, documentation, and client service.

The ideal candidate will hold a US JD or LLM, be admitted to a US state or DC bar, and have 2–3 years of Associate-level experience with solid knowledge of immigration law.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in a US state or DC.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Identify and solve escalations and areas of underperformance.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding processing issues and case strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on established precedents.
• Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
• Directly or indirectly supervise junior Associates and other staff, providing mentoring and coaching.
