Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate in the United States. You will develop case strategies, counsel clients, and coordinate with global mobility teams to file non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.

The role emphasizes client service, accuracy, and teamwork. 2–3 years of experience and a US bar admission are required, with JD/LLM credentials. The position offers a collaborative, professional environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LLM required.
• Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association.
• 2–3 years of experience at Associate level.
• Expanded practical understanding of immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Dedication to exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Draft and prepare letters and legal documents based on established precedents.
• Direct mentoring and coaching of junior Associates and staff.
