Job summary

WNC Corporation in Milpitas, CA, seeks an Senior Industrial Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience to lead global manufacturing optimization initiatives. You will drive plant setup, capacity planning, lean implementations, and cross-regional standardization to improve OEE and cost metrics.

You will mentor teams, define roadmaps for SFCS/MES systems, and collaborate across functions to accelerate continuous improvements and deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on IE experience in large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Overseas plant setup (greenfield) and/or global operations management experience.
• Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, MES/SFCS system architecture, facility/line layout planning, automation integration, and OEE optimization.
• Exceptional cross-cultural communication, stakeholder management, cross-departmental coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Plant Setup, Process Optimization & Standardization Replication to meet IE milestones.
• Plan capacity, line balancing, and cycle time/work-hour analysis to maximize efficiency.
• Implement SFCS/MES workflows and SOPs for smooth NPI to mass production transitions.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; evaluate and deploy smart manufacturing and collaborative automation solutions.
• Align multi-site manufacturing strategies, replicate standards, and optimize production costs and metrics.
• Foster cross-departmental synergy and accelerate continuous improvement projects.
• Drive and optimize OEE; oversee budgeting, headcount planning, and financial performance metrics.
• Lead IE teams to fulfill annual goals and provide technical mentorship across teams.
• Define IE roadmaps, review engineering documentation and project deliverables.
• Identify high-caliber talent, foster continuous innovation, and lead the team to target achievement.
