Job summary

MetLife’s Global Security team is seeking a VP of Identity and Access Management to lead strategic IAM, encryption, and secret management across the enterprise. You’ll guide policy, governance, and risk mitigation for a highly audited security function and partner with architecture, engineering, and operations to safeguard assets globally.

The role demands senior leadership, strong collaboration, and a track record delivering large-scale IAM initiatives in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in global IAM environments and leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of IAM principles, including SSO, MFA, IGA.
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop global IAM strategy, governance, and policy across MetLife’s enterprise.
• Oversee IAM service lifecycles including privileged access management and identity administration.
• Drive audit readiness, security governance, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues.
