Northern Trust is seeking a Sr HR Business Partner/HR Consulting to serve as the primary HR advisor to senior leaders in COO Business Services, Technology, and Chief Data & Analytics Office. This individual contributor role requires extensive experience in a matrixed environment and will influence workforce decisions across business units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HR leadership experience, global ops preferred.
• Proven ability to lead organizational design and change management.
• Data-driven decision making with HR analytics.
• Policy and process domain expertise in HR.
• Strong relationship and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking.
• Experience with Workday preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive talent strategy and align enterprise HR strategy to business challenges.
• Executive coach to senior leaders; advise on talent risks and workforce decisions.
• Lead workforce planning and capability strategy for assigned units.
• Design and redesign organizational structures and lead transformations.
• Foster global adherence to standards and act as HR COE integrator between business and HR.
• Lead rewards, benefits, and performance management processes; align to enterprise standards.
• Facilitate enterprise talent reviews and succession planning for key roles.
• Escalation owner for high-risk ER/ethics cases.
• Sponsor enterprise change and ensure coherence across units.
• Develop and refine HR Consulting capability through initiatives and improvements.
