Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Director, Global Human Resources Business Partner to advise executives on people strategies driving performance and culture. The role partners with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations, Legal and Finance to deliver scalable talent and organizational design solutions.

This senior leader translates business priorities into workforce plans, leads redesign and transformation initiatives, and uses analytics to guide risk-aware decisions across multiple countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HRBP leadership supporting executives.
• Experience at Senior Director or equivalent scope in a global, matrixed environment.
• Deep expertise in workforce planning, organization design, talent management, succession planning, and change management.
• Strong business acumen linking people strategies to financial performance and priorities.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and coach leaders across regions and cultures.
• Experience managing people-related risk across multiple countries with Legal and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Advise executives on workforce strategy, culture, engagement, and talent outcomes.
• Translate priorities into multi-year people plans for global and local teams.
• Lead workforce planning, organization design, and operating model evolution.
• Use analytics and insights to identify risks and practical HR solutions.
• Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Coach senior leaders on effectiveness, change leadership, and decision framing.
• Manage complex employee relations in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and HR Ops.
• Orchestrate Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated HR solutions at scale.
• Strengthen HRBP practices, governance, and operating rhythms.
