Job summary

JERA Global Markets in Houston seeks an experienced HR leader to drive change management, employee engagement and HR operations for the US. You will partner with senior stakeholders across business functions and work with global HR teams to ensure compliant, efficient people practices and initiatives.

The role requires strong analytical skills, confidentiality, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving commodities trading environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of HR experience in relevant sectors such as commodities trading, energy or financial services.
Strong knowledge of global employment laws and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Lead change management initiatives arising from business transformation and strategic projects.
Advise senior stakeholders on leadership, employee engagement, and change management.
Ensure compliance with US employment law and regulatory reporting requirements.
Manage employee relations and engagement in the US, including investigations and issue resolution.
Coordinate engagement activities with global HR and Corporate Communications to promote culture.
Collaborate with payroll to ensure 100% accuracy and timely administration.
Lead HR projects including performance management, HR metrics and dashboards.
