Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Cleveland, OH is seeking an HR Director to lead the HR center of excellence for the Howmet Engine Products BU. The role drives HR strategies across Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning & Analytics, and HR Programs for 36 sites worldwide.

The position reports to the VP of HR and requires strategic leadership, manufacturing HR experience, and strong data-driven decision making. On-site role in Cleveland with travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, global scope.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
• Export-controlled data access requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic HR initiatives with senior leadership aligned to corporate priorities.
• Advise on compensation, talent acquisition, workforce planning, analytics, HR programs, and organizational effectiveness.
• Build and develop a high-performing HR team delivering scalable solutions across the BU.
• Oversee global compensation planning, salary reviews, incentives and benchmarking.
• Drive talent acquisition strategies, university relations, internships, and employer branding.
• Develop HR analytics, reporting and headcount forecasting with finance and operations.
