Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. seeks an experienced Bell Training Academy Pilot to deliver academic and simulator training for visual and instrument flight. You will partner with customers to develop courseware, ensure safety compliance, and support a global training program across domestic and international flights.

The role requires 5+ years rotorcraft experience, CFI/CFII credentials, and the ability to travel as needed. A collaborative team environment and use of MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of helicopter aviation experience.
• Commercial rotorcraft license is required.
• CFI/CFII (AGI for ground instructors) is preferred.
• Minimum 1000 hours total rotorcraft time.
• At least 500 hours as an instructor pilot.
• No revocation of pilot license by FAA or regulators.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined and objective-oriented.
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel & MS Projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver academic ground instruction and simulator training to customers.
• Develop and update flight/ground training courseware.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate with maintenance for flight prep.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Aviation Authority requirements.
• May travel domestically or internationally as required.
• May work shifts outside 8am-5pm as needed.
• Provide subject matter expertise during sales/marketing flights.
