Job summary

Textron's Bell Training Academy seeks a Mechanical Technical Instructor to deliver and develop Bell aircraft courseware for customers in the US and internationally. You will teach and maintain shop areas onsite in Fort Worth, TX, and collaborate with the Training Support Development team to refresh course materials.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, FAA A&P certificate, and 2+ years of Bell maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting on Bell products.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Ability to prioritize work and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom for each class and deliver the presentation of the course materials to customers.
• Maintain the Bell Training Academy shop areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Develop and deliver specialized courses for customers, including US and international clients.
• Collaborate with Training Support Development to update or create courseware.
• Travel to present aircraft courses in US and internationally (up to 15%).
