Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field; 10+ years industry experience.
• Healthcare product development experience in medical devices, surgical instruments, drug delivery systems, diagnostics, or related applications.
• Knowledge of ISO and USP healthcare regulations.
• Expertise in polymer processing, compounding, formulation, material characterization, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Strong understanding of healthcare market needs with ability to translate customer requirements into product solutions.
• Proven technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of scalable technology platforms for global Healthcare market strategy.
• Evaluate and develop new raw materials, additives, and processing methods for innovative solutions.
• Integrate customer needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability into programs.
• Mentor and develop a global team of engineers and scientists.
• Oversee project scope, milestones, and budgeting to ensure timely delivery.
• Use stage-gate process to manage visibility and continuous improvement.
• Align technology roadmaps with commercial strategies and long-term growth.
• Collaborate with Regional Design Teams for technology transfer and documentation.
• Build customer relationships by presenting capabilities and identifying opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments; support IP strategy.
• Foster continuous improvement and knowledge management.
