Qualifikationen

• Willing and able to travel to sub-Saharan Africa up to two times per year for extended periods.
• 2 years of experience in implementation science or HIV public health programs.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 4-5 years of equivalent education/experience.
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional writing skills to produce a wide range of documents and deliverables.
• Experience collaborating with UCLA administrators, funders, policy makers and community representatives.
• Ability to communicate medical, policy and administrative information clearly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage complex programs with short deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Lead program planning, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, grants, communications, and operational activities.
• Supervise and mentor program staff and project teams.
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and human subjects research requirements.
• Support international research teams with IRB applications meeting ethical requirements.
• Provide technical support for SurveyCTO, ODK/ODT, and other data platforms.
• Provide on-site support for global projects including travel to Africa for research activities.
• Assist in development and editing of abstracts, manuscripts, and scholarly products.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance impact and sustainability.
