Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Health Policy, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible experience in global health implementation, award management, and programmatic support, including malaria.
• Experience with award design, management, and oversight of large-scale portfolios.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to report to Congressional requirements.
• Experience collaborating with Ministries of Health, donors, and partners across sub-Saharan Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide program and activity management for malaria awards and programs.
• Support global technical engagement and operational support for malaria programs.
• Develop strategic frameworks and work plans for malaria programs, aligning with other health areas.
• Design and select new program instruments and performance metrics.
• Prepare congressional reports and briefing materials on schedule.
• Create technical guidance, tools, and training for integrated malaria programs.
• Monitor performance and adapt strategies to accelerate malaria progress.
• Engage with stakeholders across multiple countries to coordinate planning and implementation.
• Support rollout and monitoring of malaria prevention, case management, and surveillance innovations.
• Document lessons learned and share best practices for policy and practice.
