Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Global Head, Science Partnerships and Funding (SPF) in Vaccines R&D to lead external partnerships and funding initiatives. The role coordinates regional leads and engages funders worldwide to support the New Vaccine Portfolio, driving strategic, scientific, and budgetary objectives.

You will build a global network, manage a high-performing team, and shape partnerships across R&D to manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery and impact.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in any relevant field or an MD/PharmD, as stated.
• 10+ years of post-graduate work experience.
• Experience in establishing public-private partnerships.
• Resourceful and up-to-date on emerging partnership opportunities.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Agent of change with strong negotiation ability.
• Fluent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in international settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global external partnership strategy across the value chain.
• Lead and manage the SPF team and ensure operational excellence.
• Develop and execute global/regional engagement plans with funders.
• Oversee grant submissions and budgets with cross-functional collaboration.
• Report progress to executive committees and define KPIs for grants.
• Investigate innovative funding streams and partnership models.
