Job summary

Sanofi US Services seeks a Global Head, Science Partnerships and Funding (SPF) for Vaccines R&D to build and sustain a global network of external partners and funding opportunities.

You will lead a global team, drive strategic partnerships from Research to Industrialization, engage funders across US, EU, UK, Asia/Pacific, and the Americas, manage budgets, and report to Vaccines leadership.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in bacteriology, virology, immunology, infectious diseases or related field, or M.D./PharmD.
• 10+ years post-graduate experience.
• Experience in establishing public-private partnerships.
• Fluent English, verbal and written.
• Ability to work in international settings.
• Demonstrated team leadership and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global external partnership strategy across R&D to manufacturing.
• Lead and manage the SPF team, maintaining agility and operational excellence.
• Engage global funders and external partners across regions (US, Europe, APAC).
• Oversee grant submissions, budgets, and compliance with funders.
• Provide KPI reporting to vaccine leadership and committees.
• Identify innovative funding streams and partnership models.
